This is our classic recipe, made with the care and passion of all time and with the best ingredients, selected by our master brewers. Its foam is white, fine and compact, the refreshing taste, has a dry finish and a balanced bitterness. The unmistakable aroma is malty and hopped. The ideal serving temperature is between 3 C and 5 C. The history of Birra Messina begins almost a century ago in 1923. In the old brewery in the city center, a beer is created in which to rediscover the colors and scents of Sicily, a unique land. The success of Birra Messina has grown over the years and in 1999 the old brewery is no longer able to sustain demand. Not being able to expand or move the brewery outside the city center, we are forced to move production and bottling to Massafra, where Messina beercontinues to be made today with the same care and attention as always.
