PODERI LA COLLINAFrom the intense red color with violet reflections, the Castiglia Superiore wine of Piergiorgio Marengo presents a clear and broad perfume, with notes of blackberry, cherry jam and spices, with a soft vanilla scent. In the mouth it is pleasantly full-bodied, with a good structure and pleasantly complex and ends with a fine almond aftertaste. The Dolcetto has a perfect match with tasty first course dishes such as lasagne and pasta with meat sauce, but also with second dishes such as scallops with mushrooms or roasted food. Its drinkability characteristic is maintained by Dolcetto and Dogliani.

History
The Dolcetto di Dogliani vineyard Castiglia dei Poderi laCollina grows on a calcareous clayey soil in an eastern position where the warm but delicate rays of the morning sun, combined with the richness of the lands, give the possibility to obtain a robust wine in-taste and structure, qualities that are enhanced by a short aging in wood.
