History

It was Luigi Ghione who founded the first Ca 'de Lion winery for commercial use in 1871, inspired by his most distant ascendant, Leone Ghione. Spanning five generations, they preserve the history and evolution of production techniques. Ca 'de Lion produces and vinifies all its wines thanks to the latest technologies in terms of bottling and processing of the product. But Tradition is the key word forthis reality: respect for the soils of the historic hills, for the traditional winemaking techniques, for the roots andfor the experiences gathered over many years of work.
