Ferghettina's Franciacorta Milledì Brut is a vintage-dated, 100% Chardonnay cuvée born from the union of grapes from 12 different vineyards, a mosaic of terroirs creating a wine of extraordinary balance and complexity. The name "Milledì" evokes the thousand days, approximately three years, of aging on the lees that give the wine its distinct personality. It has a brilliant straw-yellow color, brought to life by a fine and unceasing perlage. The nose is rich and complex, with notes of candied citrus, yellow peach, toasted hazelnut, and hints of pastry. On the palate, it is creamy and enveloping, supported by a vivid freshness that makes it dynamic and persistent. A gastronomic Franciacorta, it is perfect to accompany an entire meal, from structured fish dishes to white meats.
